AGRITURISMO
San Giacomo
Agriturismo San Giacomo has grown over the years thanks to Pietro, who moved to Tuscany at a young age, and his dedication to his work. Through the years and the support of his family, he has created a unique and striking Tuscan retreat.
The Agriturismo is located at the foot of the “Balze” of Volterra, surrounded by the iconic hills of Tuscany. The property spans approximately 200 hectares, with most of the land dedicated to cereal cultivation while the rest is reserved for woodlands, olive groves, and vineyards.
The pool, bordered by cypress and olive trees, offers a breathtaking view of the landscape, a gentle sea breeze flows across the hills, providing pleasant temperatures even on the hottest summer days.
Under the attentive care of Pietro, his wife Angela, and their three sons, guests have the opportunity to experience a traditional Tuscan way of life, the Agriturismo San Giacomo is almost entirely self-sufficient, and Angela often prepares excellent, authentic Italian dishes using produce from the farm. Guests can enjoy her cooking during their stay and connect with other visitors at the farm’s rustic restaurant, where they can savour Angela’s delicious meals while enjoying a glass of wine together.
The Agriturismo’s central location allows guests to reach the historic city of Volterra in just 10 minutes, it also offers convenient access to other significant cities in Tuscany, such as Pisa, Siena, Firenze, San Gimignano, and Lucca.
Guests can enjoy a relaxing holiday on the farm, admiring stunning sunsets, tasting local wine, and taking strolls through the land or along paths leading to the woods. Additionally, art enthusiasts can appreciate the exhibits of Mauro Staccioli, one of which is located on the property.
